A documentary producer who has spent the last decade telling impact-driven stories, now focussing entirely on supporting non-profit organisations solve big issues socially and environmentally through storytelling.
Michael has worked closely on distributing his films across a community screening approach, giving agency to community leaders to host the events, and encourages the audience to participate and share their experiences in response to the film.
Director: Abbie Merritt
Abbie is a documentary photographer, film-maker and writer, whose work focuses on nature connection, environmental issues and stories of social justice. Through her work, she aims to inspire positive change by sharing intersectional stories of those who love the outdoors. She seeks to use her enthusiasm for the natural world to encourage others to protect it.
Growing up around South Gloucestershire, she is proud to be working with change makers, charitable organisations, community groups and driven individuals to document those doing good on our changing planet. This story is an opportunity to pay an ode to an area close to home, and to support a community doing all they can to protect what they love.
